My Treatment Philosophy

I work with individuals to gain a trusting therapeutic relationship in order to unpack and examine personal struggles. I believe people need to be understood through mind, right brain, and body work. The body is the gateway to the unconscious, inner wisdom, and the right brain to the unconscious. The roots of my work come from Mind / Body work (somatic therapy), Jungian depth psychology, and are influenced by the work of the work of  Attachment Science, somatic principles, Carl Jung, and Dr. Neufeld’s Developmental Science.

Evidence indicates the relationship between client and therapist is the best predictor of outcome. I work to establish and strengthen our relationship by validating and normalizing your experience. Being well versed in different therapeutic models allows me to utilize a variety of tools in session.

I am also heavily involved in research, both as a PI in various studies (ie. attachment & burnout), as well as a research therapist for studies on psychedelic use for treating mental health & substance use, and CPT for trauma.
